Congratulations to the 39 students who were inducted into the Marlboro Middle School chapter of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) on June 9!
They are Jenna Atkins, Meyer Baker, Maggie Conn, Caleb Corrado, Liam Correa, Vivien Cosmo, Ella Crane, Stella Delfini, Kaylee Dina, Christopher Felker, Violet Figueroa, Amber Gecht, Miles Giansante, India Guzman, Savannah Holmes, Timber Jackson, Gianna Jarvis, Angelina Lanzarone, Samantha Maleck, Katharine Mohl, Liliana Montalbano, Olivia Morales, Ryan Najork, Theresa O’Dell, Nidhi Patel, Wyatt Piazza, Sophia Quezada Rendon, Devin Robertson, Tyler Rosenberger, Mia Russo, Sofia Santora, Ryan Stahli, Laya Thompson, Ava Todisco, Roy Underwood, Jailyn Valentine, Josephine Werba, Izabella Williams, and Danruo Zhu.
Also recognized that evening were current NJHS members who were not able to have a live ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the event, NJHS officers spoke about the core values of scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship that each new member must demonstrate to earn induction into the society. The students then recited the NJHS pledge. The night concluded with a reception in the cafeteria. It was a wonderful celebration!
