The Marlboro Central School District is excited to introduce its newest School Resource Officer (SRO), Kelly Aluisio. Officer Kelly, as she prefers to be called, joined the Town of Marlborough Police Department in October and will serve as the District’s “traveling” SRO, visiting each of our three schools throughout the week.
A dedicated mom of two middle school boys, Officer Kelly brings a wealth of experience to Marlboro. She has been teaching DARE to Grade 5 students in Fishkill for five years (excluding the COVID pause) and also works part-time with two other police departments.
When asked about her new role, Officer Kelly shared: "I enjoy working in the schools because I think it is a great opportunity to forge relationships with children at a young age. It’s important for them to have another adult they can trust for help or advice."
Officer Kelly is excited to get to know our faculty, students, and families. She has already met some wonderful people and looks forward to meeting many more.
