Today is a C Day

Quote of the Week:

REGENTS and MIDTERM TESTING: Regents and midterms will start January 21. If you need a ride to the high school for an afternoon exam you MUST sign up in the main office for a pickup. If you are not sure if you are having an exam please check with your counselor and/or teachers.

Our next Student Voice meeting is on Monday, January 27.  The meeting will take place 9th period in room 118.

Counseling Office Update: Sophomores! If you wish to participate in the BOCES Field Trip, you must submit your visitation permission slip by February 7. This deadline is strict, and there will be no exceptions for late submissions.

School Events, News & Reminders

  • 10th graders who wish to participate in the Career and Technical Academy field trip must submit their paperwork to their school counselor by February 7.  Marlboro High School's 10th grade CTE visitation day is Wednesday, February 12.  Applications can be found in the 10th-grade Google classroom and in the school counseling office.

  • Although there will be AM CTE all days moving forward, there will be no PM CTE on Wednesday, February 5, Wednesday, February 12, and Wednesday, March 5.  PM CTE is canceled on those dates to allow all area schools to have their 10th-grade visitation day.

  • We have an incredible Safe School Ambassadors program at MHS.  We are seeking to expand our program and we need more student leaders to do so.  Please see Ms. Harden in the school counseling office to sign up.

  • Congratulations to "No Place for Hate" as our student leaders and advisors travel to Siena College next Friday for the annual STOP conference!

  • The Marlboro Central School District will be closed on Monday, January 20 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.  Regents Exams and select midterms will take place on January 21, 22, & 23.  Friday, January 24 will be a regular instructional day at MHS.

  • Our next Student Voice meeting is on Monday, January 27.  The meeting will take place 9th period in room 118.

  • Seniors can submit senior candid photos to Ms. Ciarimboli anytime by emailing a photo and description.  This will help us as we build our Yearbook photo collection.

  • The Orange County Alcohol and Drug Awareness Council is sponsoring the 38th annual substance abuse essay and poster contest.  Entries must be received by February 14, 2025.

Have a great day and GO DUKES!
