Thomas Rusk and family

We are thrilled to announce that Marlboro High School senior Thomas Rusk has been named a finalist in this year’s National Merit Scholarship competition!

This program is an annual academic competition among high school students for recognition and college scholarships. Students who are U.S. citizens, who plan to go to college, and who take the Preliminary SAT (PSAT) in October of their junior year are eligible to receive National Merit distinctions and scholarships through

the program. Thomas’s PSAT score made him eligible to continue in the program, and he was required to submit an application and essay, as well as take the SAT in order to be considered for a National Merit Scholarship.

Thomas's designation as a "finalist" is an incredible achievement and a testament to his dedication to academic excellence. We couldn't be more proud!
