A student smiles at the camera holding a stuffed lion

On September 23, our youngest Dukes at Marlboro Elementary School received an eye-opening visit from members of the Marlboro-Milton Lions Club.

Using their Spot Vision Screener, the Lions approached each student and asked them to look into the camera without blinking. The photo of the student’s eyes quickly provided information on the potential presence of common vision problems such as near-sightedness, far-sightedness, and astigmatism.

As a reward for their participation, each student received a sticker and a stuffed lion toy to take home. Thank you to the Lions for providing these free vision screenings to our students!
