The Marlboro Central School District has begun accepting applications for its Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program. There are 69 tentative spots available for the 2025-2026 school year. Spots will once again be assigned using a random lottery process. The program is NOT first come, first served.

The UPK application period will be open through Tuesday, February 18. Applications are available online.

In order to be eligible for the UPK program, a child must reside within the MCSD and be four years old on or before December 1, 2025. Participating UPK providers are Pattycake Playhouse II, Stepping Stones I, and Stepping Stones II.

Once a UPK application has been submitted, applicants will have the option to download or pick up a registration packet. The following documents must be submitted along with the packet: a birth certificate; two proofs of residency (at least one primary and one supplementary), health and dental exams, including immunizations within the last calendar year; parent/guardian identification; IEP (if applicable); and custody/foster care documentation (if applicable).
