Don't forget that Parent/Teacher Conferences will be taking place throughout the District on Thursday, March 27, and Friday, March 28. As a result, there will be no school for Elementary School students ONLY on March 28. Middle and High School students will have a half day.
Congratulations to Marlboro Elementary School students Donovan Fiore (Grade 2), Lam Bui (Grade 3), and Vi Bui (Grade 4) on receiving awards for completing the 1,000 Book Project! Sponsored by the Marlboro Faculty Association, the 1,000 Book Project is a reading program designed to inspire children and caregivers to read 1,000 books together. To participate, children can visit the Marlboro Free Library or the Sarah Hull Hallock Free Library in Milton to borrow pre-made bags of books, each containing ten titles. Read the books, return the bag, and check out another!
Marlboro High School's Youth and Government members attended the annual YMCA Youth and Government State Conference this past weekend. The students had a fantastic time presenting and debating bills, meeting new people, and gaining a deeper understanding of our government. A special congratulations to Pietro LoPresti, who earned the prestigious "Outstanding Delegate" award! Amazing job, everyone!
