Award-winning singer/songwriter Jared Campbell captivated audiences throughout the Marlboro Central School District with several energetic performances on January 12. His shows featured songs that engaged Dukes of all ages while also reinforcing character-building messages about kindness, respect, responsibility, and more.
Campbell’s performance at the Elementary School consisted of fun sing-a-long songs that, among other things, explained what it means to be a superhero at school. Using humor and, of course, music, Campbell inspired the students to become leaders who could work towards improving the culture of their school every day. His earlier presentation at the Middle School centered around more age-appropriate themes, such as resiliency, dependency, and the power of focus.
As Campbell promised, each student left their assembly with songs in their heads and—more importantly—positive messages in their hearts!
