The Marlboro Central School District held a Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) Screening Day on June 13 to assess the 42 children who have registered in the District's UPK program following an application and lottery process that took place this spring.
The screening, which was coordinated by Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction Robin Hecht, gave teachers the opportunity to meet each child and collect valuable information to pass along to their UPK providers.
Aside from a few (thoroughly understandable) jitters, the children seemed excited to be starting their education journeys in Marlboro!
