Marlboro High School is proud to announce that Jaisal Patel has been named valedictorian of the Class of 2022 and Emma Schlagler is this year’s salutatorian. These students not only excelled academically during their High School careers, but in a wide array of sports and extracurricular activities as well.
Both Jaisal and Emma have taken several Advanced Placement and college-level courses at Marlboro, and each is a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. Jaisal was heavily involved in Science Olympiad, while Emma competed on the Cross-Country, Track, and Softball teams.
Jaisal is still waiting to hear back from a few Ivy League schools before deciding which he will attend in the fall. He plans to major in Computer Science and either double major or minor in Finance or Economics. Emma plans to major in Chemistry at SUNY New Paltz and eventually earn a master’s degree in Teaching.
Rounding out the Top Ten for the Class of 2022 (in order of rank) are Vesa Lokaj, Amya White, Katerina Calderone, Gianna Barbero, Dylan Gunsett, Lindsay Stelling, Kevin DeSantis, and Isabella Gulcaglayan.
We are extremely proud of our hardworking seniors and wish them all the best in the future!
