1. Assure that the MCSD curriculum maps in all K-12 grades and subject areas are aligned to the corresponding NYS standards. Engage administrators and teachers to guide this alignment.
2. Assure appropriate and innovative instructional materials are developed and/or provided for all K-12 grades and subject areas. Such materials must align instruction with updated curriculum maps. Engage administrators and teachers to guide this alignment.
3. Assure that MCSD chosen student assessments are appropriate and aligned with each corresponding grade and subject. Such assessments should reflect the most updated and innovative thinking in student assessment. Engage administrators and teachers to guide this alignment.
4. Assure that there is a fully implemented RTI process that aligns with the MCSD Academic Intervention Plan. The RTI process should ensure that there is a coherent and followed process where students are appropriately identified and provided with services in the AIS program.
