Let’s hear it for Marlboro’s top spellers!
Marlboro Elementary School and Marlboro Middle School held their annual Spelling Bees on January 15. All the contestants gave an incredible effort, but in the end, victory went to Sebastien Walker from Marlboro Elementary School and Yoonis Saleh from Marlboro Middle School.
Second-place honors were earned by Bridget Smith at the Elementary School andd Madeline-Camille Bell at the Middle School.
Both Yoonis and Sebastien will move on to compete in the Scripps Capital Region Spelling Bee later this winter. We wish them the best of luck! A big thank you to all our Spelling Bee participants, organizers, and judges!
