Students watch a classmate walk across a cardboard bridge

Students in Thomas Fassell's Engineering class at Marlboro High School recently took on an impressive challenge: building a Warren Truss bridge using just cardboard and glue!

After weeks of planning, designing, and gathering donated materials, they finally put their bridge to the test. The Dukes took turns carefully walking across the structure to find its breaking point, then reflected on the experience—celebrating what worked and exploring how to make it even better next time.

Way to go, future engineers!
